Sandra Ann (Sparks) Nash - a native of Memphis, TN and a resident of Mobile since 1957 passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with her family. Ann graduated from Julius T. Wright School for Girls in 1965, attended the University of South Alabama, and was a member of Sigma Delta sorority, which became a chapter of Kappa Delta.
Ann worked in advertising for the Mobile Press Register for 34 yrs. She was predeceased by her father, Wayne J. Sparks and mother, Thelma Odele (Walker) Sparks. Ann is survived by her loving son, Edward Hamilton Nash of New York City; brother, Robert Wayne Sparks, sister-in-law, Dean Dearmon Sparks, nephew, Justin Wayne Sparks (Hillary) and Avery Wayne Sparks, all of Mobile.
We would like to thank Dr. Brian Heller and the staff at the Southern Cancer Center and a heart-felt thank you to Valerie Portella and Pauline Davis, her wonderful caregivers that made her final years so peaceful.

Funeral services will be held from the graveside on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 12 pm in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time Monday at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
