Shirley Phillips Carroll,77, of Semmes, AL, passed away on July 13, 2024.
Shirley was born on April 2, 1947, in Mobile, Alabama to Melvin Phillips, Sr. and Melinda Christine Phillips. Shirley was a bookkeeper for multiple companies throughout her career which spanned over 40 years. She was a lifelong member of the Church of God and loved to spend her time shopping. Shirley also enjoyed going to the mountains when she traveled.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cecil Carroll, Jr.; parents, Melvin Phillips, Sr. and Melinda Christine Phillips; brother, Melvin Phillips, Jr.; sister-in-law, Glenda Phillips; daughter-in-law, Davina Carroll.
Shirley is survived by her son, Robert Wayne Carroll of Crestview, FL; sons, Patrick Scott Carroll (Toni) of Semmes, AL; brother, Daryl Phillips (Sheila) of Semmes, Alabama; seven granddaughters, thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Her family will honor her memory with a funeral service on Friday July 19, 2024 at 10:00 am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning an hour prior.
