Nell Lucas Giannini, completed her earthly journey and went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 22,2024 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Nell was born on May 14, 1937 to the late Leonard and Allie Lucas . Mrs. Giannini was of strong Baptist faith and faithful to all that loved her. Nell Giannini was owner of Giannini Insurance Agency and Secretary of the Agency. Ms. Nell loved flowers, especially roses, and was a remarkable spouse, friend, mother, aunt, caregiver, sister, and mentor. She loved to travel and visit her family and was a food critic across the Gulf Coast on restaurants which she mostly did not like. She will be missed dearly by friends and family, Nell was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years Louis Raymond Giannini III; grandson Nicholas Channing Coale of Mobile, AL; brothers Norman Lucas (Hilda), Thurman Lucas (Carolyn); son-in-law Barry Hendon; brother-in-law Lloyd Broom. Nell is survived by one daughter; Pamela Giannini Hendon; sister Charslie Broom of Columbia, MS; brothers Dewayne Lucas (Erma) of Sumrall, MS, Roy Lucas (Peggy) of Sumrall MS. Pallbearers for the service will be Kevin Lucas, Donald Wayne Lucas, Keith Lucas, Stephen Stringer, Jason Stringer, and Lucas Stringer.

Funeral services for Nell will be held in the chapel at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 2 pm on Friday, July 26,2024 with the family receiving friends one two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to provide services to the Giannini family.
Nell was the sweetest neighbor and friend. She welcomed us and supported us and delighted in our family. She will be greatly missed.
