Patricia Louise Massey Chastang (Pat) passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024. Born February 5, 1948, in Alabama, to Robert and Edna Massey. Pat always said when talking about her life “What a ride” and she lived her life to the fullest doing what she loved best and that was taking care of her boys! Pat was married
to her husband Henry in 1964 and had 3 boys Donny, Micah, and Davey. She lost her middle son Micah Chastang in 1988. Pat and Henry also raised their grandson Micah Chastang, Who was named after his late uncle, since the age of 2. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years Henry Chastang; one brother, Robert Massey; two sons, Donald Chastang and Davey Chastang; one grandson "Son" Micah (Gina) Chastang also, survived by a long time devoted friend Erika Mayfield. She is preceded in death by her son Micah Chastang. The world will not be the same without Pat, she was the center of her family and touched so many people’s life, She was referred to as a 2nd mother or bonus mother by many! She left her mark in this world and in many hearts that will forever miss her and mourn her passing. Visitation will be Friday, September 13th from 10-11AM at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Graveside Service will be held immediately after the visitation at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL. The Family respectfully asks for no visitors after the service.
