Dorothy Mae Johnson Hardegree went to be with our Lord and Saviour on September 30, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister who will be remembered for love of gardening, flowers, painting, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Hardegree was preceded in death by her first husband, James Alvin Johnson and her second husband, Jerry Lamar Hardegree. She is survived by her children, Mary Ellen (Glenn) Wells, Joyce Diane (Vincent) Cain, Carol Johnson Dockery and Anthony Wayne (Tawnya) Johnson; grandchildren, Jennifer “J.J.”, Lt., James, Natasha, Tonja, Ashley, Codie, Jon-Michael, Nathan and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brad, Samantha, Andrew, Brittani, Brandi, Katie, Calista, Elijah, Ansley, Makalya, Sawyer, Zoe and Abby; great-great grandchildren, Khalessi, Aubri, Karston, Charleigh, Camdan, and Madyn; numerous brothers, sisters, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, October 4, 2024, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service time.
