Nila Carolyn Collins, born September 9, 1933, in Laurel, MS, died January 24, 2025 at the age of 91 in Mobile, AL.
Survived by her Daughter, Jeana Parks; Son, Jimmy Collins; Son-in-law, Tom Parks; Grandson's Brian Parks and Scott Parks; Daughter-in-law, Kate Stringfellow Parks; three Great Grandchildren, James Fisher Parks, Hadley Claire Parks, and Hayden Marie Parks.
Deceased, her parents Florence Fisher Measells and T.J. Measells; Siblings, Dorothy Jean Measells Rosenthal and Staton O Measells.
Carolyn worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Alabama Credit Corporation and retired from Mobile County Court system where she worked as a clerk in the Domestic Relations Court.
She was a life long member of the VFW where she worked tirelessly for Veterans.
Services will take place on Monday, February 3, 2025 with visitation at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. graveside service in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
