Diane “Dae” Ellisor Hendrix was born January 28, 1959, in Mobile, Alabama and passed to heaven Saturday March 29, 2025, after an 8-month battle with Ovarian cancer.
Diane was a lifetime resident of Mobile, Alabama and graduated from Murphy High School in 1977. Diane worked 16 years in the banking industry retiring from Amsouth in 2000, she immediately joined the USA Health Service with her last position being Clinical Operations Supervisor for Pediatrics. Diane retired at age 62 from USA after a 25-year career. She was an avid gardener and beachgoer, she enjoyed mentoring her Goddaughters, traveling and she loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Kelly Ellisor and John LeGrand Ellisor Sr. She is survived by her husband of 33 years , Stephen Hendrix, her two brothers, John L Ellisor, Jr. (Sharon) and Jeffrey C Ellisor (Carrie), her three sisters, Michelle Ellisor Crain (George), Andrea Ellisor Peters (Stan), and Tiffany Ellisor Tate (Keith), her nieces and nephews, Kellee Walker (Brad), Emilee Segers (Nick), Tripp Peters, Courtney Higdon (Jamie), and David Comer (Chritina), two goddaughters, Jennifer Parsley and Amanda Evans (Steven), and six great nephews and nieces, Finn Walker, Levi, Sawyer and Thomas Higdon, and Rivers and Gabriel Comer.

Funeral Services will be held at Radney Funeral home on Friday, April 4, 2025, with visitation for the family from 12:30-1:00, general visitation from 1:00-2:00, and service to start at 2:00. Burial to follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
