Theodore Kyle Alvis, Jr., Age 34, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama died Saturday, May 10, 2025. Kyle attended Corpus Christi Catholic School and was a graduate of Baker High School where he was a member of the golf team. He was a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in Business Finance. He was employed as an electrical contractor working for Airbus as a safety inspector.
Kyle was a gentle giant who had the ability to make everyone laugh and be at ease. He was very comical. He had a strong love for his family, especially his niece and nephews, where he was known by the loving name, “Funky”. Kyle was very active in both playing and watching all sports. He was a music connoisseur who loved to discover, dance to and share new music. He had a very kind heart and took great pride in guiding and protecting those he loved. He met the love of his life, Angela Knight and never looked back.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Earline Bertolino, and great-grandmother, Willa B. “Dutch” Peattie. Survivors include: his Fiancé, Angela Knight; his mother, Carmel Bertolino Alvis; his father, Theodore Kyle Alvis, Sr.; siblings, Hunter Alvis, Dylan Alvis (Macy), and Blakeley Alvis Rash(Blake); grandparents, Ted and Jackie Alvis; three nephews, Baylor Rash, Henry Alvis, and Hudson Alvis; one niece, Breelyn Rash; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Student Center on Old Shell Road across from the USA Campus. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Student Center Chapel with Reverend Norbert Jurek as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
