Carolyn M. Payne - Caffman, March 4, 1937 – May 27, 2025. With deep love and honor, our family announces the passing of Carolyn M. Payne-Caffman, who went to be with the Lord at the age of 88. Born on March 4, 1937, Carolyn lived a life marked by strength, grace, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dedicated friend. Carolyn was known for her persistence, her sharp wit, and the deep care she showed for everyone who crossed her path. Her presence was a steady comfort and her wisdom a guiding light to many. She served her family and community with quiet strength. Her home was a place of peace, her kitchen a source of comfort, and her prayers a covering that carried her loved ones through every season of life. Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Though we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well lived and the eternal joy she now knows. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Caffman and daughter Sheri Whitehead, and is survived by her sons Kevin, Mark and Jeremy Caffman, Daughters-in-law, LaVonda, Joann & Elizabeth, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
