Barbara Ann Doherty Moore, a lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2025. A private-duty LPN for most of her life, Ann devoted herself to caring for others with compassion and dedication. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strength and spirit touched all who knew her. A proud member of the Cody Road Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ann lived her faith daily through service and kindness. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Moore; her parents, Jesse and Ora Doherty; her sister, Lois Anita Roberts, her uncle, Cecil Doherty; her daughter, Lynda Turton; her granddaughter, Jessica Patterson and her grandson, Aaron Leigh Scott. Ann is survived by her children, Jacqueline (Russell) Scott, Sandra (Curtis) Morris, Jayne (Steve) Sanders, Tonja Moore, and Toni Augustino. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Justina Scott, Michelle Turton, Ashley (Chris) Metzger, Chadwick (Kristin) Ellzey, Brandon (Hannah) Bowers; and Tim Morris, as well as her 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought tremendous joy to her life. Ann’s legacy of love, faith, and selfless care will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Committal will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
