Thomas James Everett, Jr. - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Thomas James Everett, Jr.

January 29, 1957 — March 6, 2026
Thomas was the beloved son of Thomas James Everett Sr. and Geraldine Nora Everett. He grew up in Mobile and built a life rooted in hard work, faith, and devotion to those he loved. He began his working life at IGA, where he learned the craft of butchering while working alongside his dear friend, Mike Sprayberry. Thomas later dedicated 43 years of faithful service to Scott Paper, now Kimberly-Clark, where he built a long and respected career. After retiring five years ago, he spent his time doing what he loved most-working on his farm and enjoying the simple life that brought him so much peace. Thomas was a man who cherished God, family, and friends above all else. He loved Alabama football and had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Those who knew him best often said he was the very definition of love-kind, steady, and always present for the people in his life. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Daniels Everett. He also leaves behind his children: Thomas James Everett III (Dee), Stephanie Everett Thrash (Shane), Brianna Gordon Everett (Chad), Charles Joseph Everett, Michael Everett (Miriam), Jessica Danielle Everett (Jill), Ashley Nicole Rivers (Will), and Anna Marie Rivers (G). Thomas was also a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings, Amiee A. Everett and Alfred T. Everett. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Everett. Thomas will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of faith, love, dedication, and hard work will continue to live on through his family and all the lives he touched.
