ALBERT HAROLD DUCK SR – Age 83
Born February 18, 1937, to the union of Albert Eason Duck and Dell Griffin. Native of Fowl River, Alabama and resident of George County, Mississippi departed this life Sunday, August 16, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.
Proceeded in death by his parents, sister Vivian Watson, son Albert Henry Duck, and grandson Albert Joseph Duck.
Survived by wife Kathy Duck (Lucedale, MS), 2 children- son Albert (Gail) Duck (Mobile, AL), daughter Sybil (Dellarrion) Mosley (Mobile, AL), 4 stepchildren- 1 devoted Greg (Sandy) Solano (Crestview, FL); 6 grandchildren- 3 devoted Janna Duck (Mobile, AL), Dellarrion Mosley Jr. (Mobile, AL), Albert Mosley (Mobile, AL); 11 step-grandkids; 4 great grandkids- 2 devoted Jonathan & Joseph Milne (Mobile, AL); sister Ethel Mae Wingo (Theodore, AL); nieces and nephews- 1 devoted James (Lynn) Hemphill Sr.; great nieces and nephews- 1 devoted Joey (Michelle) Walls cousins and a host of other family and friends.
He served his country in the US Army and worked his life as a carpenter building and rebuilding the community. Mr. Duck never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh.
The Family would like to extend thanks to everyone- the families, friends, businesses – just everyone that has had an impact on our lives. Special thanks to the VA in Biloxi, USA Mitchell Center, and Kindred Hospice for the care received during his fight. Extra special thanks to Nurse Donna Denton- you are one in a million!
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 2pm from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Family will recieve friends at the funeral home from 1pm until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Friday, 08/21/2020 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
