Alfred Lee “Junior” Gibson, Jr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, May 15, 2020 at the age of 64. Junior was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and New Orleans Saints football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Lee Gibson, Sr. and Mary Magdalene Parker Gibson. His survivors include his sister, Deborah Gibson DeGuire; two brothers, John (Nanci) Gibson and Jack Randall (Veronica) Gibson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Dennis Singleton, will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
