A dear woman, Yvonne Vaughn Howard, passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 84. She was a wonderful mother who was always there for her family. She loved flowers and working in her yard. She passed along this love to her children. She loved cooking for her family and could make the best cornbread dressing and homemade banana pudding you ever tasted. She will surely be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyatt Y. and Geneva Vaughn; brothers, Joseph Vaughn, James Phillip Vaughn and Paul Zeno Vaughn; and her loving husband of 55 years, Artis Elijah Howard. She is survived by her children, Artis Wyatt "Sonny" Howard of Grand Bay, AL, Cindy (Monty) Reyer of Irvington, AL, Charles (Jim Wagoner) Howard of Mobile, AL, and Melissa (Wayne) Sumrall of Mobile, AL; grandsons, Aaron (Amanda) Reyer of Mobile, AL, and Christian (Kindal) Davis of Mobile, AL; and three great grandchildren, Olivia Reyer, Carmen Reyer and Benjamin Davis. Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 9 am followed by a graveside service in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 10 am. Aaron Reyer, Christian Davis, Lisa Vaughn Tedder, Monty Reyer, Wayne Sumrall, and Jim Wagoner will serve as Mrs. Howard's pallbearers.
