Amelia I May was born March 31, 1925 in Mobile, Alabama and passed away Friday June 5, 2020 in Mobile, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband Lt. Colonel Hugh E. May and one son Harvey L. Burroughs Jr. Her greatest gift was she never found a fault with anyone. She loved to be with family all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Margaret Rice, son Bruce Burroughs, nephews Doug Patterson, Don Patterson and Joseph Patterson, grandchildren, Christopher Burroughs, Nikki Johnson, Kellie Burroughs, Jonathan Burroughs, Heather Lewis, and David Burroughs, Great grandchildren Daniel Johnson, Mikaela Burroughs, Michael Houston, Aiden Burroughs, Aviana Burroughs, Loki Burroughs, Oliver Lewis, and Nathaniel Lewis. Visitation is 9:00-10:00 with a graveside service after held at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6040 Three Notch Rd. Mobile, Al.
