Ann Zenobia Byrd, age 92, peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. She was the daughter of Simon Early Singley and Ethel Long Singley. Ann was born Tuscaloosa and was a long time resident of Mobile. Survived by her three sons Richard Emery Byrd (Lynn Allen), Gregory David Byrd (Kathleen Ferguson), and Jonathan Daniel Byrd (Lynn Layfield), seven grandchildren, Whitney Byrd Barnett (Ham), Richard Emery Byrd Jr. (Hillary Harrod), Garrett Daniel Byrd, Carolyn Elizabeth Byrd, Brandon Alexander Byrd (Meghan McRae), Daniel Lewis Byrd, Katie Christine Byrd, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends Ann was an active member of Ashland Place United Methodist Church where she became a Stephens Minister. She graduated from Murphy High School as member of the National Honor Society and retired from International Paper Company. Ann was committed to her family and many friends throughout her life. She was an avid bridge player, voracious reader, and a member of the D'Iberville Chapter of the Daughter's of the American Revolution. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation and gratitude to all the caregivers for their care and compassion during the final phase of Ann's life.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3PM, Friday December 22, 2023 at Ashland Place United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends at the church from 2PM until the service.
