Barbara J Carrera, age 76, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday November 1, 2019. Barbara was born October 19, 1943. Barbara was a nurse by trade and loved caring for people. She was a member of a Mystical Mardi Gras Society, enjoyed doing karaoke and loved The Alabama Crimson Tide. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and spending times at the beaches of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Lois Wooten, brother Teddy Vaughan and sister Cheryl Vaughan. Survivors include her loving companion of many years Ken Henderson, daughter Tara Carrera, brothers; Robert (Connie) Vaughan, Jr., Tony (Wanda) Vaughan and Randy Vaughn. Stepson Dion Carerra.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

A chapel service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, 11/06/2019 from Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
