Barbara Ann Piggott, age 82, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Barbara was born on August 9, 1938 to Arthur Paul “AP” Lewis and Dolly Hammond Lewis. She was a member of Redemption Church in Saraland, Alabama and was an avid Crimson Tide football fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron “Buddy” Piggott; parents, Arthur and Dolly Lewis; and siblings, Debbie Lewis, Clarence “Butch” Lewis, Charles “Tiny” Lewis, Chester “Bubba” Lewis, and Dorothy “Dotsie” Santa Cruz.
Survivors include her sons, Norman “Buzzy” Jordan and wife, Terri, and Byron “Joe” Piggott and wife, Barbara; daughter, Theresa Maddox and husband, Ralph; sisters, Elaine Saucier and Shirley Lewis; brother-in-law, John Santa Cruz, Sr.; grandchildren, Chris Maddox and wife, Mandi, Ellen Maddox, Tara Piggott, Ryan Piggott, and Grace Piggott; great-grandchildren, Zachary Maddox and Colton Maddox; devoted friend, Rhonda Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Saucier, Blake Hurston, Bryant Randall, Brad McPherson, Kip Saucier, and Jon Owen.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Litton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

A chapel service will be at 12pm on Friday 02/05/2021 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by a commital service at the graveside.
