Beckie Lynn Moody Garlovo, age 70, resident of Mobile, AL., was born on April 25, 1955, and passed on December 16th, 2025. Beckie was born in Arkansas and lived in multiple states throughout her life (Mobile, AL, Coral Springs, FL, Pembroke Pines, FL and Luling, LA). Beckie loved going to Disney with her family, the beach, loved shopping and helping out at her church. She loved sitting in her backyard in the sun and watching the birds. Beckie was a 13+ year Cancer Fighter. You will never meet someone who fought harder and struggled with so much pain, only to be able to spend as much time as she could with her family. She was definitely the strongest woman you could ever meet. She never gave up. Beckie is preceded in death by; her Mother, Patsy Carson (Larry). Her Father, the late, Joe Moody. She is survived by her large family; her Daughter, Tasha Crochet (Rick), Grandsons, Charlie Meetre and Thomas Meetre, Granddaughters, Olivia Crochet and Lauren Crochet, Sisters, Vickie Moody, Kathy D'Angelo (Tommy), Cally, Olivia and Nolan, Jacque Frazier, Nieces Kayla Frazier and Mary Frazier, Great Nieces, Jordyn Frazier, Kenleigh Nichols and Jorgie Reed, Brother, Joey Moody (Susan) and many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Beckie's funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd, 2025, at Noon; at The Grove Church with Todd McGhee officiating. Burial will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service on December 22nd from 11am to 12pm.

  1. I loved Beckie with all of my heart and soul. She was the strongest person I have ever met. She struggled with so much adversity and overcame most of it. Just some things she couldn’t beat and cancer was one of them. She gave it the best fight ever! Rest in peace to my sister.
