Benny Moore - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Benny Junior Moore, a native of McComb, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the age of 93. He was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years. He is a US Army Veteran and a graduate of Mississippi College. He retired from Southern Fastener as an accountant. His love of life was his Savior, his wife, family, church and his flower garden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin “Bennie” Franklin Moore and Ruby Lee Carraway Moore; and his brother, Barney Lee Moore. His survivors include his wife of 71 years, Patricia Rose Williamson Moore; his sister, Bobbie Nell Templeton; and one brother, F.D. (Joyce) Moore; special caregiver, Jackie Dyess; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside service, officiated by his brother-in-law, Rev. Jack Williamson, and interment will be held Monday at 12:00 Noon in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
