Betty Irene Hayles Bryant, 85, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on September 14, 2024 at her residence.
Betty was born on June 1, 1939 to William Hayles and Rosie Mae Weaver Hayles.
Betty was a trailblazer and explorer at heart; she loved horses and Hunter jumping, motorcycles, corvettes, and Jesus! Her work through Harbert International and Brown & Root allowed her to travel the US and world, living in the most interesting places. She was able to enjoy mountain climbing, cave exploring, swimming in the Red Sea and Mediterranean, in addition to experiencing many cultures and natural wonders.
Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Woody Bryant; mother, Rosie Mae Hayles; father, William Hayles; sisters, Nell Peaden and Lois Taylor; brother Gene Hayles; father-in-law, Woodrow Bryant, Sr; mother-in-law, Edith Bryant.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon LaPointe (Roger), Tashia Foster (Dale); grandchildren, Aubrey Foster (Kelsey), Hunter LaPointe (Victoria), Ranger LaPointe (Lexi); great grandchildren, Walker LaPointe, Warren LaPointe, Hudson LaPointe, and Dorothy Mae LaPointe.
Betty's family will celebrate her life with a funeral service on Monday September 23, 2024 at 12:00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
