Betty Chrifone, 91, of Mobile Al passed peacefully into the Lord's arms on September 24, 2020.
She was born in Epps, Alabama on January 25, 1929, to Emmett & Elizabeth Speights. She was 3rd of four girls.
Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Frank, son Tony, parents Emmett & Elizabeth, sisters Dorothy, Louise & Vera.
She is survived by her family that loved her dearly; daughter Angie (Mickey) Stokes, daughter Felecia (Chet Capps) Chrifone & granddaughter, Nicole (Kevin) Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed being a homemaker cooking for her family and tending her flower gardens in her yard. Her family requested her spaghetti & meatballs & parmesan chicken and fresh coconut cake at many get-togethers. She was a joy to everyone who knew her.
A visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2020, from 3-4 PM followed by graveside services and interment at 4:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chet Capps, Kevin Johnson, Robert Willingham, William Shires, James Webster, and Kenneth Webster. Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Stokes and
Walter Drake.
We want to give a special “Thank you’ to the caregivers at Vitas for all of the care you gave our mom. Especially to Mickey, Kourtnei, Mercy, Margot & Chaplain Jose – “Thank you so very much for the time, love & care you gave our mom and me (Angie).
