Billy “Craig” Waldo, 51 was born on June 25, 1970 in Cape May, New Jersey to Master Chief Billy Pate and Shirley Marks Waldo. He was called to his Heavenly home on August 22, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. Craig was a member of Pathway Church where he was a dedicated member of the Tech team. He loved all things Coast Guard, and photography. Craig provided dedicated services as a valued employee at Mobile Marble Company since 1994. His memories will be cherished by all who knew him. Craig was preceded in death by his father; Master Chief Billy Pate Waldo USCG. Left to cherish Craig’s wonderful memories will be his beloved wife of twenty-three years, Cathy M. Waldo; two daughters: Rebekah Waldo, Savannah Waldo; his mother, Shirley Waldo; a brother, Mike Waldo and wife Paula, two nephews: Josh, Peyton; along with many extended family members and numerous friends. Honoring Craig as pallbearers will be Mike Waldo, Joshua Waldo, Sean Ott, Zech Hinkle, Landon Coaker, Trae Adams, Drew Adams, and David Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Freddy Cassity, Jacob Cassity and the Tech team of Pathway. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Craig’s nurses Bill and Kayla of Providence Hospital for the care and compassion provided. A special thank you to Lead Pastor, Travis Johnson, Pastor, Andric Daugherty, team leader, Zech Hinkle and the Tech team of Pathway Church for the friendships, prayers and compassion expressed. Thank you to Craig’s best friends, Robert Williams, Zech Hinkle, Landon Coaker, and Manny Milan for always being there.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Pathway Church with Pastor Travis Johnson officiating under the direction of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Mobile Memorial Garden, Mobile, Alabama. The family will be receiving guests for visitation Friday, August 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Pathway.
