Different Ways to Customize Your Memorial

Traditionally, memorials are made from bronze materials because of their known durability and resistance. At Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, you can personalize your loved one’s memorial to fit their personality or to your liking. The process includes professional installation by our experienced technicians, including a great value price all done with care and with you in mind. A memorial will be the one thing people will see every time they visit, which is why we work hard to give you exactly what you expect in an uneventful time. Memorials are a part of the cemetery practice, but we want to assure you that your memorial is more than just a product, but it is a special marking that will lay forever in our gardens and in your heart.

Choose a size

The size of the memorial you want depends on many factors. There are two main categories that people choose from which are - individual or companion. Companion sizes are ideal for couples or families. They can include multiple individual’s names (usually up to two) side by side imprinted with the same last name printed in the middle. You have the option of adding a flat bronze memorial to each gravesite. This brings a cohesive feel and makes it easier for others to recognize for generations. Consider the length of any lyric verses or quotes you would like to use to get a better idea of how big or small you would want the memorial to be.

Add a design such as a photo or a statue

Adding a design will enhance the memorial by adding a special touch to its name. Some people decide to add an image that reminds them of the person deceased, such as a butterfly or dove signifying beauty and living spirit. For the younger deceased, babies and small children’s footprints capture a new life. Depending on your religion, a design such as the holy cross also helps represent the deceased’s strong faith. A statue, such as a guardian angel, is also unique to add next to a monument. Remember that a real-life picture of the individual is highly admired. People usually remember faces, so be sure to choose a recent photo (from the neck up) that shows their best smile. Another great feature that many are using is the Memory Medallion. You are able to add pictures, music and even tell the life story of your loved one. Adding a special vase for upright flowers is an elegant touch to add to your loved ones memorial.

Choose the location

We offer many different gardens here at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. From the layout of each garden to the garden’s charistic types, all of the gardens vary in design.
