Carlton Glynn Craddock, a resident of Mobile, AL and a native of Cookeville, TN, passed away August 24, 2024, at the age of 86.
Carlton always highlighted and emphasized how to have balance in life. Put God first, family second, and everything else will fall into place. He had a Bachelor of Arts from Tennessee Tech. He worked as a Senior Development Chemist with two US patents. His hobbies included exercise, family time, reading and Bible study, and sharing about Jesus. Carlton's organizations included Royal Ambassadors leader at church for over 25 years, Deacon, Usher, Sunday School Class Director, and Hospital Visitor Team.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Craddock of Mobile, AL; son Carlton Andrew Craddock of Austin, TX; his daughter Cristy Athey of Mobile, AL; 4 grandchildren; 8 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Haley F. Craddock; mother Ruth Craddock; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29,2024 at 9am followed by Funeral Service at 10am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and will be officiated by Ronnie McCarson and Alan Floyd. Pallbearers will be Andy Kirk, Christopher Pappas, Aaron Craddock, Bret Mitchell, Alex Kirk, and Everett Cote.

Glynn was a great man and a blessing to me personally. He was always a great encourager to everyone he met. I will miss him.
