arolyn Alice Barnes Nethery, a lifelong resident of Mobile, died peacefully January 14, 2022. She was 88 years old. Carolyn spent most of her working career as a medical secretary and transcriptionist. After retiring from Mobile Infirmary, she was able to spend more time at Little Flower Church serving in various activities including the Eucharistic Ministry and Alter Society. Carolyn was proud of her Irish Heritage and believed St. Patrick’s Day should be a national holiday. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, sister and half sister. Among those left with special memories of her include family members Randal and Pamela Nethery, Tony and Joyce Nethery, Brian and Peggy Nethery, her sister, Betty Cox, nieces, Brenda Holt, Rynn Toifel, and Susie Hess, and a nephew, Fred Hoehne. Her legacy includes grandchildren and step grandchildren, along with great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
