Carolyn Ann Hafford (Dixon) passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the age of 76. Carolyn was born in Mobile, AL on December 24, 1945, one of five children born to Austin Columbus Dixon & Lorena Tillman Dixon. She loved the Lord, her family, friends, and just people in general. She attended Calvary Assembly of God. She loved spending time in the kitchen cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, so much that she worked in the Mobile County Public School System for 20 years cooking and serving kids their daily breakfasts and lunches at Theodore High School. On days that she worked the cafeteria register, if a kid came through her line without any money, she would let them slide and cover their meal. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Garold "Gary" Hafford to whom she shared 38 loving years with before his passing. Siblings: Sister; Mary Goldie Dixon Bennett (Archie), Brothers; Woodson "Woodie" Leroy Dixon (Margaret), and Samuel "Sam" Frankie Dixon (Lydia). She is survived by her son, Robert Andrew Dixon; grandson, Brad Andrew Dixon (Christi); sister, Susan "Sue" Dixon Davis (Sam-Bo); great-grandchildren, Juliea Dixon, Morgan Dixon, Taylor Jempson (Levi), Randye Rockwell, great great-grandson Liam Jempson, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 9am-10am with funeral to follow in the chapel at 10am. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
