Carolyn Giuli Cook Harris, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the age of 80. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to smock. Her favorite color was red. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hardy Harris; her parents, John Joseph Cook, Jr. and Dorothy Ruth Hill Cook; her brother, John Joseph Cook, III; her sister, Patricia Cook Mikkelsen; and a grandson, Johnny Clyde Taylor. Her survivors include three daughters, Darlene Harris (Billy) Gulsby, Marcy Harris (Johnny) Taylor and Donna Harris (Mike) Thomas; one sister, Cheryl Cook (Michael) Cosker; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ronald Gavin Harris; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Join us for a Christmas service that will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
