Cathy Hobbs, 49, a native of Mobile, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 7, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 6, 1973, to her parents Tim and Diane Hobbs. She attended Murphy High School and then graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from the University of Mobile. She was an active member of the Coast Guard Reserves and worked for many years at Alabama Power. She loved anything outdoors and spending time with her 2 grandchildren; Jayce and Ellie Kate.
Left to cherish her memories are her parents; Byron T. Hobbs & Diane C. Hobbs, her daughter; Taylor M. Cazalas (Justin); grandchildren; Jayce & Ellie Kate Cazalas; brothers; Tim Hobbs (Emme) and Benji Hobbs (Mandy); along with many extended family and friends.
