Mr. Charles E. Carwile Sr. a native of Richwood West Virginia and a resident of Spanish Fort, Al died on Sunday January 3, 2021 at a local health care facility. Mr. Carwile was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, a U. S. Navy Veteran, he was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of Abba Shrine and the Key Stone Kops Unit. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Quaintence and Lola Jewell Carwile, two sisters Bettye Louise Winborne, and Patricia Joyce Thomas, and his son Charles E. Carwile Jr. Mr. Carwile is survived by two daughters Donna (Scott) Hodgdon, and Robin Street, five grandchildren Chase Norton, Amanda (Derek) Daniel, Tyler Hodgdon, Joseph Kasal, and Will (Samantha) Kasal, Zachary Carwile, Katie Carwile, and Rachel Carwile, two great grandchildren Grant Jayden Daniel, and Jasper Garrett Daniel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the graveside on Thursday January 7, 2021 at 10AM. A private family visitation will be held on Thursday prior to the graveside. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
