Charles "Ricky" Richard McHenry, Jr., age 73, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Ricky was born March 22, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama to Mary Nichols McHenry and Charles Richard "Pete" McHenry, Sr. Ricky was a member of Hollinger's Island Baptist Church and the Gideons International. He retired from Delchamps Printing Co., Inc. with 37 years of service. Ricky volunteered with the Mobile infirmary Auxiliary for 13 years and was a part of Mobile infirmary Operation Bounce Back. Ricky is survived by his wife, Carolyn McHenry; son, C. Richard McHenry, III; daughter, Charlene (Randall) Shell; brothers, Donnie (Kathy) McHenry, James Earl McHenry, and Jack (Regina) McHenry; grandchildren, Veronica (Keith) Butts, Darryl (Catherine) Shell and Delane (Kara) Shell; great-grandchildren, Bailey Ann Butts and Cooper Shell. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Charles Richard "Pete" McHenry, Sr.; mother, Mary Nichols McHenry; great granddaughter, Angel Butts; sisters, Leatha "Pat" White and Sylvia McHenry; and brother, Lawrence "Pete" McHenry. A visitation for Ricky will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A celebration of life will occur Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 5956 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, Alabama 36619.

A chapel service will be held at 10am on Monday, 10/28/2019 from Radney's Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
