Charlotte Ann Strickland – a 74 year-old native of Mobile and longtime resident of Satsuma, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. A longtime payroll clerk, during her career, Ms. Strickland worked with J.H. Rich, Industrial Valve, and BFI and retired from Mobile Country Club after 15 years. Mrs. Strickland sold Avon for over 40 years, served as a tour guide at Oakleigh, was very involved with the Satsuma Library, and was a former Satsuma Citizen of the Year.
Ms. Strickland was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Thurman Strickland and Mary Jeanette Herring, and special cousin, Dorothy Merle Platt. Survivors include cousins, Marsha Stiltner, Mary Walls, and Kay Sanford, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
