Connor Alexander Bennett, age 15, passed away on April 11, 2022, at Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on August 29, 2006, in Mobile, Alabama to Richard Bennett and Ashley Crittenden. Connor grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his family. Connor is survived by his sisters Aaliyah Marcus and Breanna Crittenden, brothers Dayne Mendiola and Emerson Mendiola of his mother's side, as well as his brother Wyatt Bennett and sister Samantha Bennett of his father's side. His sister Samantha also has a daughter and a son which he was a proud uncle to them. He was survived by many family members and friends. Connor was a loving and bright young man. He cherished his family and had a heart of gold. In his passing, he was able to save a minimum of 4 other lives by being an organ donor. His light will forever shine in those lives he has touched.

A visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on April 23, 2022, from 1-2 pm. A funeral service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens located at 6040 Three Notch Rd in Mobile, Al 36619 on April 23, 2022, at 2 pm. Burial will follow the funeral in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
