Constance “Connie” Elaine Grider Corrales, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died suddenly Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 66. Connie was a graduate of Shaw High School; loved sports; served as scorekeeper at Cottage Hill Park (now known as Medal of Honor Park) for many years; and was a loving and giving person. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Edward Grider and Margaret Clementine Walston Grider; and her brother, Randolph Grider. Her survivors include her husband, John Louis Corrales; her daughter, Catherine Rhodes; two sisters, Teresa (Steven) Stafford and Maureen Downey; two granddaughters, Brittany (Aaron Moffett) Rhodes and Brooke Gilbert; one great-grandson, Camden Moffett; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Connie’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place #260, Memphis, TN 38105.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Thursday, 05/23/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
