A born-again Christian, A member of Good Shepherd Church and a dedicated pastor’s wife.
Cynthia survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Thompson. She also survived by her son, Will & Stacey Thompson, Daughter & Husband Michelle & John Suther, Daughter & Husband, Shan & Chris Smith, Son Davey Thompson, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and numerous friends.
Proceed in death by daughter Lanie Hearn and Father John Lester James Sr. and Mother Mary Etta Kountz James.
Taught school for many years at Good Shepherd Academy and retired as school principal.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, 11/26/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
