Darrell Taubel Sr. passed away on Wednesday February 24, 2021. Darrell was born on June 15, 1937 in Appleton, WI. He proudly served for four years in the United States Navy aboard the USS Saratoga and USS Tripole. Upon leaving the Navy he settled down in Mobile, AL where he met and married his wife, Corliss. Together they had three wonderful children and resided in Semmes, AL. Darrell was an employee for RJ Bagget until his retirement in 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife, Corliss T. Taubel. He is survived by his three children, Debbie Burns (Chris), Darrell Taubel Jr. (Karen), and Shannon Mims (Larry); his seven grandchildren, Amanda Fuller (Vance), Brandon Burns, Paige Montgomery (RJ), Chelsey Smith (Barry), Hunter Taubel (Ashley), Casey Mims and Bryan Mims; his seven great grandchildren and siblings across the United States. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
