Dennis Ray Buxton was born on December 14, 1951 and passed on November 13, 2023. He was a quiet man who was loved by all.
Dennis was one of nine brothers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Delores Buxton. Dennis was one of nine children to Mr.& Mrs. Buxton who were married for 51 years. Brothers Eddie, Athen, Ricky, Wesley and Darayyl Buxton have passed before him. He is survived by his brothers; James Sr., Billy Joe, and Wayne Buxton.
Dennis loved and was loved by all his nieces and nephews; James Jr., Tony, Justin and niece Frances Buxton Cloninger were very special to him.
Dennis had great nieces and nephews: one great niece very close to his heart was Lucille Elaine Cloninger (Luci).
Special friends of Dennis were his sister-in-law, Veronica Buxton, and Barbara Purvis.
Dennis Worked for the City of Prichard for over 30 years. He was said to be a very reliable and dedicated employee.
Dennis enjoyed a hot cup of coffee with his brother James, working on cars and fishing.

His family's message for Dennis is gone but not forgotten.
