Dino Ballis - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Dino Ballis

April 2, 1961 — January 7, 2024
Dino Ballis, age 62, passed away Sunday, January 7th after a brief illness. He has been a longtime resident of Mobile but grew up in New York. He was born in France and his family moved to New York when he was very young. He is preceded in death by his parents Zoe and Antigonos Ballis, his brother Themis Ballis, his cousin Dino Psaltis and his longtime girlfriend and companion Martine "Mott" Keeton. He leaves behind his business partner and ex-wife Cindy Littlefield along with his friend Craig Littlefield and too many friends here in Mobile to mention by name. Also, there are many friends and cousins from New York that will miss him greatly. Greg Papalitskas and Dino were friends from school and had many wonderful fun times together. Dino helped start and was still working in a family business for the last 30 years and enjoyed traveling and talking to thousands of people about the Sacro Wedgy which was invented by Cindy's father. It was truly a family business and he was truly part of the family. As people are learning of his passing and the sadness is expressed, what everyone says is what a really good guy he was. He was an honorable man and has left this world a better place. He had that NY wit and humor and loved to debate politics. He never met a stranger, especially after moving down south when he realized people everywhere would talk about anything, anytime, anywhere. He knew everyone at the post office, and UPS as part of his work was mailing products so friendships were developed and he truly cared about them all. He leaves behind a legacy of love, light and true friends. He is so going to be missed.
