Dock White passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Saad's Hospice. He was the fourth child of fourteen born to Reese and Louis White in Perry County, Alabama on July 1, 1940. Dock was a chemical operator and retired from UOP after 25 plus years of service. He was an active member of Mt. Siani Baptist Church where he was a member of the Choir and Sunday School. Dock was a gifted musician who loved to sing and play his guitar. He enjoyed fishing on the banks of the Mobile Bay and hunting in the country. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and sharing stories of his life with his beloved grandsons. He had a heart of gold and always wore a smile on his face that would light up any room. He is survived by his devoted wife, Doris D. White, of 56 years; his two sons, Gregory B. White (LaQuetta White) and Gerald G. White (Carol White); three grandsons, Gregory A. White, Myles L. White and J. Auburn Donaldson; four sisters, Virtha White, Delia White, Ethel White and Margaret White; and five brothers, Willie L. White, William White, Reuben White, Levell White (Armenta White) and Rev. Maurice White (Geneva White); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Repass immediately thereafter in the Café located at the funeral home.
