Donna Lou Bromley Regan, 77, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2020. Donna was born in Glens Falls, New York and raised in Lake George, New York where she attended Lake George High School. She worked for many years at the Blacksmith Shop Steakhouse in Queensbury. She and her husband, Joe, lived on Glen Lake where they raised their three sons. In 1987 the family moved to Sarasota, Florida, and Donna worked first at the Oyster Bar and then for many years at Eldridge Fine Jewelers in the Sarasota Square Mall. Donna and her husband moved to Mobile in 2004 to be near their son, Rick, and his family. Donna loved family above all, especially her grandchildren who lovingly called her Dema. She also felt drawn to dolphins and hummingbirds because of their joyful nature. Apple picking in upstate New York, planning dinners and baking for her grandchildren, playing cards with her friends, and visiting her sister in Florida gave her great joy. Donna is survived by her loving children, including her son Richard Regan and daughter in law, Paige Regan of Mobile, Alabama; son Todd Regan and daughter in law, Cindy Regan of Kentucky: son Christopher Regan of Waxahachie, Texas; sister Carole (Bromley) White of Sarasota, Florida; brother David Bromley of Brandon, Florida; brother Mark Bromley of Celina, Texas; sister Lisa Bromley Parker of Lake George, New York; 9 grandchildren (Holli Jane, Todd Michael, Samantha, Hailey, Christopher Scott, Arrie Nicole, Sophia, Zachary and Parker Regan) and 3 great-grandchildren; her cousin (and “Yaya” sister) Theresa Kennedy, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph George Regan, her father Vorman Bromley, and her mother Eleanor Conrady.The family extends heartfelt thanks to Donna’s friends at University Oaks and for the exceptional caregivers at Saad Hospice in Mobile, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 Am on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the chapel of Cottage Hill Memorial Funeral Home . The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:30am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial gardens.
