Doris Bernice Hollinhead Hewett, an avid crafter and seamstress, loved gifting her "Mamaw blankets" and bags to her friends and family. She was born on March 21,1926 to George Washington Hollinhead Sr and Effie Cassie Lou Cardwell. She is preceded in death by husbands Ira G. Hewett, Jr and Richard L, Russell, 4 siblings, Cecil B Hollinhead, Charles W Hollinhead (Betty), George W Hollinhead (Dorothy), Alma D Allen (Robert) and 1 son, Larry E Hewett. She is survived by 5 children, J Scott Hewett (Brenda), Sharon C Williams (John), Pam Hewett, Christine South (Barry), Cheryl Russell and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
March 21, 1926 ~ January 25, 2022 (age 95)
Visitation will begin at 9am Friday January 28 followed by funeral service at 10am at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
