Doris Blumenthal, age 92, a native of Lucedale, MS and a longtime resident of Mobile passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. She lived in Mobile where she raised her family and co-owned the Blumenthal Real Estate Agency until her retirement in 2000. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, C. E. Blumenthal, parents, Larnie Ainsworth Whatley and Ruben Whatley, Her sister, two brothers and granddaughter, Ashley Ready. She is survived by her three daughters, Tammy (Johnny) Hite, Candace (David) King, Sherri Smith, grandchildren, Joseph (Kristy) Harrison, D. J. (Tracy) Farnell, Allyson Waldrop, April (Mark) Pruitt, Joshua(Ana) York, Lacey King, Andrew (Hannah) King, great-grandchildren, Isaiah Farnell, Ciera King, Nicholas King, Gabby Lindquist, Brendan Wilson, Haley Wilson, Jeremiah Farnell, Sophia Cooper, Evie Tate, Caleb King, Paul Tate, Zachary Harrison, Aveda King, Finley King, Layla King, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10 am. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens .
