Doris Summersgill passed away peacefully January 27, 2021, one day after what would have been their 74th Anniversary. They spent the last 30 years traveling and enjoying their beach house with friends and family. She was always cooking everyone’s favorite dish at holidays and known for her Gumbo and crab puffs. She was a member of Luke 4:18 Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband William(Bill) Summersgill, sons, Daniel Summersgill and Keith Summersgill. She is survived by her son Don(Opal) Summersgill, Ken(Brenda) Summersgill and daughter Katherine (Lew) Walding.
Seven Grandchildren, Amy Stork, Luke Walding, Brooke Walding, Daniele(Matt)Adams,Cynthia (Dustin) Schneider, Carmen Summersgill and Shelton Summersgill. Seven Great Grandchildren, Nicholas Stork, Ashlynn Stork, Zoe Adams,Max Adams, Haisley Schneider, Micah Summersgill and Ellie Summersgill.
Family will recieve friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 9am until 10am at the funeral home, with chapel services beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
