Dorothy “Dot” Lee Watson Miller, a native of Chickasaw, AL. and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL. passed away peacefully on Saturday at the age of 83. She was a woman of strong faith and our hearts are heavy with the loss of our devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Dot found her life’s passion as a Christian woman and faithful Eastern Shore Baptist Church member. Dot was preceded in death by her late husband, Richard E. Miller, II; her parents Lewis H. Watson, Sr. and Abby Gail Wally Watson; along with her siblings, Bernice Ross, Fredna Earl Taylor, Alma Taylor, Ray Watson and Lewis H. Watson, Jr. Dot so looked forward to the day they would all be reunited in Heaven through God’s grace. Dot is survived by her son, Chris E. Miller (Lisa) Fairhope, AL.; two grandsons, Scotty C. Miller (Teresa) Louisville, KY.; and Shann G. Miller Spanish Fort, AL.; great-grandson, Connor Scott Miller; sister-in-law, Pat Tracy (Jerry) Wakatapa, AL,; along with many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Dot was a Vigor High School graduate who began her career in 1954 as a Certified Dental Hygienist. She was dedicated and committed to the dental community and after 50 years of service, she retired from Azalea City Dental, Chickasaw, Al. Dot was featured in the 1984 edition of the Mobile Press Register for her dedication and commitment to each and every patient. She was also a member of the local Red Hat Club. Dot will be remembered for her quick wit, southern charm, and deep love for family, friends and God. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, April 12, 2019, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Willingham officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Friday, 04/12/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
