Dorothy Dorris Lizotte Summersgill passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Cartersville, GA. Dorothy was a native of Willow City, ND and resided in Willow Spring, NC for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Hanson Rexford “Rex” Summersgill and her parents, Philip August Lizotte and Mary Minerva Flanery Lizotte. Her survivors include her daughter, Darlene Brazitis and her son, Phillip R. Summersgill and his wife, Ailene; three grandsons, Gary, Terry, and Brian Tinsley; one granddaughter, Wendy; many great-grandchildren; her sister, Nona Brown; one brother, George Brown; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:30 PM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
