Douglas Wayne Ellison, age 79, resident of Mobile, AL. Douglas was born on September 13, 1946 and passed away on October 22, 2025. He was a graduate of McGill Institute. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Mary Ellison and his father, Otis C. Ellison and his wife, Faye Salter Ellison. He is survived by his brothers, Chester Ellison (Cindy), and Steven G. Ellison. Sister, Darcia Lynn Ellison. Nephews David H. Ellison (Leisa) and LT jg Alan Renkl (Christina), nieces Cary Ann Hague (Tom), Amanda R. Delaney (James) and many other relatives and friends. Douglas was employed at Keith Air Conditioning for 50 years, with 40 years as Installation Supervisor.
September 13, 1946 — October 22, 2025
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Viewing at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Chickasaw, AL from 10 to 11, with Mass at 11. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
