Edith Faye Breland Warren, age 80, of Semmes, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, surrounded by her children. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Faye was born on December 18, 1939, in Leaf, Mississippi, and spent the majority of her life living in Mobile, Alabama. She was a member of the New Life Traditional Baptist Church in Semmes, Alabama, and was a resident at Brookside Assisted Living Facility at the time of her death.
Mrs. Warren was a devoted wife, mother, and "Ma" and was well known for her cooking; you never left her table hungry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Warren, Sr.; parents, Spencer and Ethel Breland; and sisters, Celah “Pete” Corey and Clara Vee Johnson.
Survivors include her children, Paula (Dave) Pace Lindsey of Semmes, AL, Pamela (V.M. Fowler) Gay Pace of Fairhope, AL, and Chuck (Kim) Pace of Pinckard, AL; brother, Daniel Breland of New Augusta, MS; grandchildren, David (April) Moody, Daniel (Candace) Moody, Hunter (Catie) Pace, and Aaron Pace all of Mobile, AL; and great-grandchildren, Rylee Moody, Lilly Moody, Dylan Moody, Charley Ann Pace, and Ella Moody all of Mobile, AL.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to nurse Mandy Webster and staff at Brookside Assisted Living and the staff of Providence Hospital 5East ICU for the loving care of their mother.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Pace, David Moody, Daniel Moody, Hunter Pace, Aaron Pace, and Daniel Hastings.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Friday, 10/30/2020 from Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
