Edward Lynn Stacey, 78, a native of Mobile and resident of Daphne, died June 5, 2019. A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Iola Stacey; beloved wife, Elizabeth Wood Stacey; and nephew, Bradley Cooper Welford. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Leigh Stacey Root (Daniel William Root, Jr.) of Birmingham; his son, Geoffrey Lynn Stacey (Meghan Treacy Stacey) of Daphne; his sister, Jayne Stacey Welford of Hammond, LA; and five grandsons, Daniel William Root, III and Thomas Edward Root of Birmingham; Braxton Wood Stacey, Lochlan Thomas Stacey, and Kelan Patrick Stacey of Daphne. Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale on Wednesday, June 12 at 11 a.m.; visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The interment will take place at 2 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
