Eileen P. Studlar of Mobile, Alabama passed on April 25, 2021 at the age of 88 at Haven Our Lady of Peace in Pensacola, Florida. Eileen was born March 4, 1933, in Gateswood, Alabama. She graduated from Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette, Alabama. She married Rudolph Studlar in 1951 and they were transferred to Bakersfield, California with Gulf Oil for several years. In the late 50's, they moved back to Fowl River, Alabama, then to Mobile, Alabama where she resided for approximately 62 years.She leaves her daughter Charlotte Serna (Larry), grandson Rodney Bardin (Tina), granddaughters Heather Bohler (Eric), Dana Jones (Billy), Sarah Studlar, great granddaughters Cheynne Smith (Jeffery) and Ashley Tucker (Eric), and 4 great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.Eileen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rudolph, son Steve Studlar, grandson Curry Mattox Jr., granddaughter Stephanie Pippen, her parents Henry and Bama Peterson, brothers Calvin Peterson and Elmer Peterson, sisters Ethyl Bayley, Cornelia Baggett, Sally Simmons, Myrtle Robinette and Alice McLemore.
She worked at Vanity Fair and Valmode Lingerie. She retired from Gordon Oaks Retirement Community.Her services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday,May 1,2021, visitation 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, funeral immediately following in the Chapel.
