Eleesha Pike Neese

AUGUST 12, 1941 – APRIL 23, 2024
Eleesha Pike Neese, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and businesswoman, died April 23, 2024. She was born in Mobile County, Alabama on August 12, 1941, to Daniel Nathaniel Pike and Christine Virginia Pike (Wicker). Eleesha attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Convent of Mercy Catholic High School in 1959. After marriage, Eleesha was a stay-at-home wife and mother; however, she worked with her husband and started a home building business which later expanded to property management. In the early 1970s, she began her career in real estate and obtained her realtor and broker licenses. After a successful career selling real estate, Eleesha became a branch manager for several offices of Roberts Brothers Real Estate in Mobile. She retired from real estate in 1991 but continued in property management until 2015. In addition to her family, Eleesha loved working in her yard and flower gardens. If the weather was nice, she could always be found outdoors enjoying her flowers. She enjoyed going on trips to the Rocky Mountains for snow skiing, spending time with her family, and opening her home as the “hub” during holidays or special occasions. Eleesha was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Daniel Adolphus Pike; and brother-in-law William Wunschel. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas Willard Neese, Sr.; her three children Christine Neese Hays (John), Thomas Willard Neese, Jr. (Angele), and William Rhett Neese; her grandchildren Olivia Raquel Barry and Donald Eugene (Diege) Barry, Jr.; sister Joann Wunschel; step-grandchildren Monica Poppill, Tyler Pitts, and Chase Pitts; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, other family members, and friends.
